Human Rights Research in the Melbourne Law School

The Human Rights in the Melbourne Law School program is at the forefront of scholarly work on international human rights law being conducted worldwide. Human rights have been brought into focus and placed under pressure by the challenges of globalisation and the war on terror. Faculty members, research higher degree students, undergraduate and postgraduate students, and existing Centres at the Melbourne Law School, are engaged in collaborative projects with universities, international organisations and scholarly networks throughout the world, and in cutting-edge independent research, aimed at developing responses to these challenges.
